Local Limelite is a one hour interview and live performance radio program on WIUP-FM. The program showcases local & underground, artists, bands, and musicians.
We we're lucky to have Pittsburgh-based band Action Camp in the studio today! They were kind enough to come in, play a slew of rad songs, and educate us about some art (Warning: these murals are graphic, and have some disturbing content, but they are amazing)! We shared music, laughs, and all-around good times. Take a listen!
Today was a real treat! Broken Fences joined us in the studio, and shared a plethora of truly great songs with us! We chatted about their music making process, tuning a toy piano, being in a relationship/band, funding their upcoming album, and many other topics! I implore you to give Broken Fences a listen. Their harmonies will blow you away!
The Current (of Indiana, PA) joined us today, live in the studio! Among some great originals, The Current also blasts out Beatles and Pearl Jam covers with great style! The Mix Cloud in the bottom of this post is for your streaming pleasure!
Champions of Progressive Folk, Look Left joined us in the studio today! They shared music, stories, and all-around good times. Check it out! Scroll down for a recording of the show!
